In today's digital landscape, social media presence is paramount for businesses seeking to connect with their audience, build brand awareness, and drive engagement. Eye-catching and shareable images are crucial in capturing attention and effectively conveying your brand's message across various social media platforms. In this section, we'll explore the various settings and customization options available for optimizing social media images on a Shopify store, empowering merchants to create compelling visuals that resonate with the audience and drive social engagement.
The Settings Overview offers a comprehensive examination of all customization options available within the 'Social Media Images' subcategory, enabling merchants to enhance the visibility and impact of their brand's presence on social media platforms.
Make section full width: Allows the user to use the full width of the screen (small gaps are left at both ends that cannot be absorbed).
Enable slideshow on mobile: It enables or disables the slideshow on mobile version. If disabled, the image blocks will appear vertically stacked by 2 on a row.
Number of columns on desktop: Gives the user the option to choose how many columns to use to present the Image blocks. They can vary from 2 to 6. They will automatically be stacked vertically if fewer columns are selected than there are Image blocks.
Color scheme: With that setting, the user can choose the color scheme of the section. For more information on setting up the color schemes, refer to Theme settings → Colors → Schemes.
Heading: Enter a heading for the section.
Caption: Enter a caption for the section.
Heading size: Gives control over the heading font size. One of three possibilities is to be chosen: Small, Medium or Large.
Horizontal content alignment: Gives control over the horizontal positioning of all the content. One of three possibilities is to be chosen: Left, Center or Right.
Image: Select an image for the block.
Link: Link to the desired external web address.
