The Featured cards grid section of a Shopify store offers an effective way to showcase selected products in a visually appealing and organized format. With this section, merchants can highlight best-selling items, promote seasonal collections, or draw attention to new arrivals, all while providing visitors with a seamless browsing experience. In this section, we'll explore the various settings and customization options available for the featured cards grid, empowering merchants to create captivating product displays that drive engagement and boost sales.
The Settings Overview provides a comprehensive look at all the customization options available within the 'Featured cards grid' section for displaying products, enabling merchants to curate compelling product showcases that resonate with the audience and encourage exploration.
Make section full width: Allows the user to use the full width of the screen (small gaps are left at both ends that cannot be absorbed).
Media ratio on desktop: Gives control over the media ratio for the desktop version.
Media ratio on mobile: Gives control over the media ratio for the mobile version.
Color scheme: With that setting, the user can choose the color scheme of the Featured cards grid. For more information on setting up the color schemes, refer to Theme settings → Colors → Schemes.
Heading: Enter a heading for the section.
Caption: Enter a caption for the section.
Heading size: Gives control over the heading font size of the section. One of three possibilities is to be chosen: Small, Medium or Large.
Horizontal content alignment: Gives control over the horizontal positioning of the heading. One of three possibilities is to be chosen: Left, Center or Right.
Cards:
Heading size: Gives control over the heading font size of the cards. One of three possibilities is to be chosen: Small, Medium or Large.
Horizontal content alignment: Gives control over the horizontal positioning of the cards' headings. One of three possibilities is to be chosen: Left, Center or Right.
Gives the user control over the settings of every card separately. Up to 6 cards (2 rows with 3 cards).
Select product: Gives the user the option to select a product to present.
Image on desktop: Select an image for the slide on the desktop version.
Image on mobile: Select an image for the slide on the mobile version.
Heading: Enter a heading for the card.
Description: Enter a description for the card.
Button label: Choose a label for the button.
Link: A link can be added, so when the customer clicks on the card image to go to the desired link. Note: It's an optional setting. If a product has been selected and no link has been added, the link to the selected product will be assumed by default.
